The King’s Lynn Community Cinema Club is an independent, not-for-profit, organisation for all film enthusiasts in the area. We aim to show a varied programme of films which reflect the tastes and interests of our members. In addition, we organise a variety of social events and informal, illustrated talks on cinema related topics.
Films are screened at the historic St. George’s Guildhall, King Street, usually on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm. We programme two seasons a year, May-October and November-April, screening at least one film per month. Individual members pay a subscription of £17 for a season of films or if you join more than half-way through a season the fee is £10.
New members are always welcome or you can come along to any film as day members paying £5 on the door.
Our forthcoming programmes can be seen on the website under Films and An Evening With… and Social Events headings. These events are also featured in the monthly newsletters we send to members and in e-mails sent out before events.
Festival Films are arranged in partnership with King’s Lynn Festival. Tickets for these films will be £4 for members (with password) and £5 for the public and are available from the Corn Exchange.
An Evening With… Events are held in the Nightingale Bar in the Ferry Lane Social Club and cost £5 for members and £6 for non-members. Refreshments can be bought from the bar.
We have a Frequently Asked Question page which will help to answer any questions you have about the club.
